Water-Pump™ NOX

  • L-Citrulline is an amino acid naturally occurring in the diet, most notably in the juice and rind of watermelon.*
  • Research shows that L-Citrulline supplementation is more effective at increasing levels of arginine (the “fuel” for nitric oxide” production) in the body than L-arginine supplementation.*[1]
  • Noted in scientific research to increase nitric oxide (NO) metabolism, supporting greater blood flow and “pump”.*[2]
  • Supplementation with L-Citrulline has been found to enhance metabolite recycling, decrease fatigue and boost endurance during aerobic and anaerobic exercise.*[3]

Betaine Anhydrous

  • Betaine is an osmolyte (cell volumizer) that enhances cellular hydration and supports creatine production in the body via its role in the methylation of homocysteine*
  • Research indicates that betaine supplementation promotes increases in strength, athletic performance, and lean body mass.*[4]
  • Betaine supplementation may also improve body composition by enhancing reductions in fat mass*[5]

Watermelon Powder

  • Watermelon juice is rich in vitamins, minerals, anti-inflammatory phytonutrients (such as lycopene), and amino acids, including L-Citrulline.*
  • Citrulline promotes the release of nitric oxide, which acts as a vasodilator, causing blood vessels to relax and widen, thereby encouraging greater blood flow*[2]
  • Citrulline also aids cellular energy production via its role in the urea cycle, which facilitates the removal of ammonia.*[6]

Malic Acid

  • Malic Acid (or Malate) is an organic compound found in many foods where it lends a tart/sour flavor*
  • In the body, malic acid serves as a Kreb's cycle intermediate involved in energy metabolism.*
  • More specifically, malate plays an important role in generating ATP during both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.*[7]

Betaine Nitrate (as NO3-T®)

  • Betaine nitrate is a combination of betaine anhydrous and nitrate (NO3-)*
  • In the body, nitrates are converted into nitrites (NO2-) which are subsequently reduced to nitric oxide*[8]
  • Nitrate supplementation provide an additional route to increased nitric oxide production that differs from the L-Citrulline→Arginine→ NO pathway*
  • Research indicates that nitrate supplementation may reduce the oxygen cost of exercise and improve athletes’ tolerance to high-intensity exercise*[9]

Beta Alanine

  • Beta-alanine is the rate-limiting amino acid in carnosine synthesis* [10]
  • Carnosine acts as an intracellular buffer of acidic H+ ions in skeletal muscles*
  • Increased buffering capacity helps delay the onset of fatigue and boost athletic performance and power output*[11]

  • Contains a blend of Maitake, Cordyceps militaris, Reishi, King Trumpet, Shiitake, Lion’s Mane, Turkey Tail mushrooms
  • Supplementation with mushroom extracts has been reported to improve oxygen uptake and utilization during exercise as well as max power output*[12]
  • Furthermore, supplementing with mushrooms (such as Cordyceps) may help reduce the onset of fatigue, thereby allowing individuals to train longer and complete more total work.*[13]

Rhodiola Rosea

  • Rhodiola is an herb traditionally used to combat fatigue and improve the body’s ability to adapt and recover from stress.*
  • Significantly reduces symptoms of stress and fatigue from both physical exertion as well as psychological and emotional stressors.*[14]
  • Also exerts neuroprotective activities against toxins and may promote longevity.[15]

  • Short for dimethylaminoethanol, DMAE is a nootropic supplements that supports acetylcholine concentrations in the brain*[16]
  • Greater acetylcholine levels promote enhanced cognition, focus and memory
  • DMAE is used extensively in the treatment of cognitive decline in the elderly as well as those with degenerative neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer’s.*

Nelumbo Nucifera

  • Also known as “sacred lotus,” nelumbo nucifera has a long history of use in Ayurveda and Chinese traditional medicine for its healing properties.*
  • Studies indicate that the old world plant may inhibit acetylcholinesterase -- promoting more potent, longer-lasting effects of acetylcholine (the “learning” neurotransmitter)*[17]
  • Evidence suggests that nelumbo may also offer neuroprotection benefits against neurotoxins.*[18]
  • compounds in Nelumbo Nucifera appear to affect serotonin receptors. Serotonin is the “feel good” neurotransmitter in the brain that promotes feelings of well-being and happiness.*[19]

Caffeine Anhydrous

  • Powerful CNS stimulant that increases mental energy, focus, and motivation*
  • Works primarily by antagonizing adenosine receptors, but also enhances dopamine (the “reward” molecule) release.*[20]
  • Noted in research to enhance strength and endurance during exercise*[21]
  • Potentiates (“enhances”) the effects of numerous other compounds, many of which are also included in AREZ SUPER.*

  • Trademarked form of sustained-release caffeine that promotes smooth, long-lasting energy, complementing the immediate surge of energy induced by caffeine anhydrous
  • Research notes that sustained-release caffeine increases the objective and subjective level of wakefulness.*[22]
  • Combining slow and fast-acting caffeine sources also helps avoid the dreaded “crash” often experienced with other high-stimulant pre workouts.*

  • Theobromine is a “feel good” alkaloid found in chocolate possessing mildly stimulating properties that enhance mood, alertness and motivation.*
  • Essentially, think of theobromine as a “softer-hitting” form caffeine*
  • It is commonly used as a bronchodilator and as a vasodilator, meaning it promotes easier breathing and greater blood flow, both of which support increased athletic performance.*[23]

  • GBB (Gamma-Butyrobetaine) is a precursor molecule to L-carnitine in the body and is often referred to as "Super Carnitine" due to its ability to significantly increase plasma levels of L-Carnitine*[24]
  • L-Carnitine in an amino acid derivative that plays an important role in energy metabolism as it serves as the cellular “taxi” for fatty acids, delivering them to the mitochondria where they can be oxidized (“burned”) to generate ATP.*

Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine)

  • Rauwolscine is a stereoisomer of yohimbine (hence its moniker, alpha-yohimbine), that serves as a powerful CNS stimulant that amplifies energy, motivation, and focus.*[25]
  • Rauwolscine also blocks alpha-2 adrenergic receptors (α2 receptors), which supports fat burning and also increases levels of norepinephrine, epinephrine, and dopamine -- enhancing alertness and mood.*[26]

  • Contains a synergistic mash-up of prominent choline donors in VitaCholine®, Cognizin®, and Alpha-GPC
  • These nutrients support the production of the “learning” neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
  • Acetylcholine plays a prominent role in memory and learning as well as the mind-muscle connection.[27]

  • Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that is used to synthesize the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine (noradrenaline), and epinephrine (adrenaline), which foster greater feelings of energy, alertness, and motivation.*
  • Research indicates that tyrosine supplementation may help mitigate stress and boost performance.*[28]

Mucuna Pruriens

  • Mucuna pruriens (“velvet bean”) is a plant rich in L-DOPA, the precursor to dopamine, and eventually adrenaline and noradrenaline.*[29]
  • Dopamine is pivotal in motivation, reward, and decision making. It also plays a vital role in motor control.*
  • Stressful situations (such as intense exercise) depletes dopamine levels in the body. Supplementing with Tyrosine and Mucuna may help delay the drop in catecholamines, promoting greater endurance and stamina.*
